Opera 2015 - Magnetic
Pulsation 009
2015-03-21 17:00 to 23:00 Geomagnetic pulsations PC1
Geomagnetic activity as reported by NOAA (http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/notifications-timeline)
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/a1yi31u5je7x96c/05_last-borehole-sogliano.png
The strong geomagnetic activity continues for several days,
creating the right conditions for the rise of the pulse
Geomagnetic activity detected by Sodankyla
Geophysical Observatory (Finland)

In the red square evidenced of a "clear from pulsation" area.
This is a classical example of a middle latitude pulsation,
originated at middle latitude and at frequencies up to 1 Hz.
Here the north Europe observatory detects nothing, and at the
same time in the south Europe all the active observatories
detect the following pulsation.
Station 05 - NORTHERN CROSS RADIOTELESCOPE From Medicina (IT -
Bologna), N Italy
Local noise (red square) precedes a pulsation of medium
intensity (white square). Schumann resonances marked on right
part.
Station 03 - ETNA RADIO OBSERVATORY From NICOLOSI (CT), Etna
Park, Sicily, S Italy
Local noise (in red square) precedes the same pulsation, here
detected in Sicily with induction coil. Schumann resonances
marked on left part of spectrogram.
Station 04 - ROMAGNA OBSERV. From Sogliano al Rubicone(FC), N
Italy.
Best network reception, with ICS101 induction coil.
Geomagnetic pulsation starts at 17 and ends at 23 (white
square). Schumann resonances marked on right part.
Station
04 - ROMAGNA OBSERV. From Sogliano al Rubicone(FC), N
Italy.
Second part of pulsation analyzed with sonic visualizer.
Structured components (the oblique lines) are clearly
distinguishable.
